Metria AB

A public authority

Metria was formed in 2011 by incorporating parts of the operations at Lantmäteriet's assignment division METRIA. The incorporation aimed partly to increase the conditions for competitive neutrality in the market, and partly to create good conditions for developing the business. The company operates on market terms and without any of the Riksdag's decided societal missions. In June 2017, the Riksdag authorized the government to sell all or part of the state's shares in Metria. The government decided to sell Metria AB to Sikri Holding AS. The sale price for the shares in Metria was SEK 724 million.
