Dear Mr Döring,
Thank you for your request for access to key messages regarding Frontex,
sent together with 13 other EU Member States, in view of the JHA Council
meeting on 10 June. (You wrote 10 July, but I assume that you mean 10
June, as that is when the meeting took place.) The Ministry for Foreign
Affairs has forwarded your request to us at the Ministry of Justice, as we
are the responsible ministry for Frontex matters as well as the JHA
Council.
However, a search in the diary of the Government Offices as well as in my
own e-mails and files, shows that no such messages are kept at the
Government Offices. Neither can I recall that we have sent such a message.
I’m afraid that we’re therefore not in a position to submit any documents
in reference to your request.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of this examination, you may
contact the Registry at the Ministry of Justice via
[1][e-postadress] and request that the matter be
examined by the authority through a decision by a government minister. A
ministerial decision is required for the matter to be appealed to the
Government. The minister may also refer the matter directly to the
Government.
Yours sincerely,
Marianne Persson
Senior Adviser
Division for Police Issues
